At Masonry Technology Inc., we recognize the challenges being faced to protect and improve the world we share. We believe that providing our customers with the best moisture control systems and services in the industry and being environmentally conscious go hand-in-hand. At MTI "Going Green" is more than just a slogan; it's how we do business!

96% Post-Industrial Recycled Material

RecycleMTI's moisture control systems are produced in a way that both respects mother nature and ensures that your wall systems are protected from her effects. Our drainage plane systems are made from raw materials that use a minimum of 96% post-industrial recycled material. Ongoing efforts are in place to minimize production waste. Our current manufacturing process has a material yield percentage of over 99.8%, which minimizes costs for our customers and waste in the landfill.

Reducing Paper, Fuel Usage, and CO2

Being Green - Building OnlineTelecommunications continue to become a more integral part of the world in which we live, and MTI sees great "Green" opportunity in this. One of these opportunities is providing both live and on-demand training for architects and builders via the Web (we are also available for live consultations using Web conferencing). This approach gives us much more flexibility than we had before. We can meet virtually with customers more quickly and on their schedules. We also feel that this a much better use of natural resources because it reduces our use of fossil fuels (that areconsumed in traveling). We are continuing to develop our online HyperSpecs™ detail drawings library and other web assets to provide our customers with easy access to updated information and high quality field and installation guides while conserving natural resources and landfill space. By taking advantage of the latest technologies, everyone wins. You can acccess our free online courses and other educational material (two of our course qualify for AIA HSW& Sustainability credit) by visiting our MTI Education page.

Continuing Commitment

As technology advances we are continuously looking for new ways to "go green." MTI's ongoing efforts to be an ecologically sound company are reaping benefits for our customers and our planet. Environmental consciousness creates a better world for us all to share. At MTI, environmental consciousness creates a quality product as well. That's how we do business.
